In January 2009 Webnerd launched a unique service called Website-in-a-Day. It was conceived for those small businesses, freelancers and consultants who require a simple yet professional website, as opposed to an expensive custom-designed website.
The idea is so simple, it’s a no-brainer: a Webnerd designer sets up his/her laptop at your workplace at 9am on the day of your booking. Together you select the most suitable, professionally-designed website template for your business. The designer then creates a “mock-up” of what it would look like with your logo, colours and any other specific requirements that you have. In the afternoon the designer builds your website on top of a content management system and copies’n'pastes any content that you have ready to go. At the end of the day you are shown how to update the website yourself.
