James has over eight years of experience in the Internet industry, including four years of freelance web design and over two years with an e-learning company developing web applications, including a world-class online learning platform used by such clients as Carlton United Brewery's Draught Beer Academy. His unique experience in the field of e-learning, along with his extensive research and training in the field of Communication Design, equips him with an advanced understanding of usability, information design and navigational systems. He has also successfully developed e-commerce solutions for Steve Parish Publishing; coordinated the technical development and running of a groundbreaking location-based-game for the Australasian CRC for Interaction Design; and currently teaches web- and e-commerce-related subjects at Queensland University of Technology (QUT).
